Laurie Gravelyn was beading with her seven year-old daughter, Lauren, when her little girl came up with an idea: "Mommy, wouldn't it be cool if we could go into your jewelry box and take everything apart, to make new jewelry."
Understandably, Laurie wasn't enthusiastic about tearing apart her best jewelry. But the idea germinated. And one night she had a vivid dream. "It was one of those dreams that you will never forget," she recalls. "I saw these jewelry pieces flying through the air and hooking themselves onto a silver hoop. Gradually they made one single beautiful creation."
Laurie shared the dream with her daughter, and together than began to imagine an entirely new kind of jewelry line. The "Hoola" concept was born. Today, Lauren is a high-flying jewelry design student, while mother and daughter are co-owners of a flourishing company, Hoola Jewelry.
"This is living proof that dreams can come true," Laurie says. "Now we want to expand our company to help thousands of women realize their dreams." With a generous compensation plan for its Independent Design Representatives, Hoola Jewelry makes this purpose a practical reality.
Laurie explains that Hoola Jewelry is a Christian-based company that finds inspiration in Matthew 19:26 "With God, all things are possible." Laurie adds: "We're also committed to the Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated."
